Observations:
The farmer applied wood vinegar with the ratio 1:600 during the seedling stage three times per week.
The wood vinegar treated lettuce had grown 26% faster, heathier and denser than controlled lettuce
Wood vinegar helps the crops uptake and stimulates growth
It improves absorption through roots
Strengthens the roots and leaves
The yellowing of the leaves was minimized
Crops under wood vinegar treatment are stockiest/healthiest looking plants in the bunch
Wood vinegar has shown the capacity to work as an effective herbicide
Wood vinegar killed most of the weeds while still benefiting the main crop
Wood vinegar was able to increase lettuce yield by 22%
Wood vinegar treated lettuce was thicker, and bigger than the control lettuce

Observations:
Two equal cups of wheat seed were weighted to 200g. One of the experiments was soaked in a container for twenty-four hours in water, and the other one was soaked in wood vinegar diluted with water with a ratio of 1:2000. The wheat seeds were laid out on a round tray and sprayed by a mixture with a ratio of 1:4000 to keep the seeds wet enough to aid germination. The other tray was fed with water only.
Seeds soaked in 1:2000 showed signs of accelerated germination, proper root formation, and appeared more lush and thick.
Wood Vinegar nourishes seeds for germination and when used alone as a stimulant for seed germination has shown improved strike rate and time.
This would suggest that wood vinegar used sparingly could provide enough to accelerate germination and growth.
Surprisingly...
After 10 days of each trial, watering was stopped. The wood vinegar treated trial appeared to remain green and lush longer than the water trials after treatment was stopped. The wood vinegar condition also remained hydrated longer than the water treatment.
Wood vinegar diluted in water also seemed to allow the medium to retain more moisture and could be potentially beneficial to reduce heavy water usage or increase the shelf-life of plant products.
